Its currency is the Euro(EUR) and is the 2nd most traded currency in the world. Bank deposits held for a fixed term in the Netherlands are sometimes called savings deposits or fixed rate savings. According to CIA.gov its inflation was 2.5% in 2008 and 1.2% in 2009.
